The Pivot Trailcat LT takes trail riding to the next level. With all the pedalling efficiency you'd expect, plus extra travel over the Trailcat SL, it's equally at home pounding down steep slopes as it is climbing and turning fast. Stomping down boulder-strewn slopes or shooting at breakneck speed around the switchbacks? You decide, and the bike's geometry can be adapted, via the Flip Chip, to accommodate a smooth rolling 29″ or nimble 27.5″ rear wheel accordingly. A flick of the chip will raise your bottom bracket and steepen the head angle by 0.5 degrees or reset back to the 29″ standard.

The Pivot Trailcat LT features just the right level of suspension travel to take the impact out of technical, knuckle-whitening downhills, without losing the hill climbing prowess and consummate cornering that define a trail bike. Its dw-link® suspension will maximise your traction and efficiency whilst maintaining a bottomless feel when attacking rock-strewn descents. With 135mm of rear suspension and 150mm of front, this bike defies its weight class to redefine your riding limits.

All of Pivot's bikes benefit from the brand's Hollow Core Carbon technology that uses clever internal moulding to minimise weight and maximise strength. The carbon in each hand-built frame is laid to achieve the same stiffness levels and capabilities in all sizes, then independent strength to weight analysis is conducted to verify these consistent performance metrics.

In-frame storage is built into the downtube of the Trailcat, in the form of ToolshedTM storage with an easy-to-use latching system for security. Inside the door, a magnet holds quick links for fast access, while an integrated strap loop can be primed to carry your favourite tool. Two included ToolshedTM bags will hold your necessities and spares, while mounting points under the top tube offer compatibility with Pivot's exclusive Dock tool system.

Compared with its sister model, the snappy and efficient Trailcat SL, the LT has geometry tuned for bigger hits, giving it the stability and plush feel required to take on steep, rock-strewn and adrenaline pumping downhills with confidence. Both, however, are built with aggressive trail geometry, with a slack head angle, steep seat tube and large front centre delivering stability at speed, control on climbs and confidence while descending, making the Trailcat a fabulous all-rounder on the singletrack.
